A belief from China is that everything on earth is made up of five basic elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water. These are considered the Feng Shui elements.
Lifes energy, chi (pronounced, chee) resonates in and flows through everything around us. All five Feng Shui elements circulate chi differently and represent different areas of life.
Wood represents creativity, community and socializing. If you have a lot of wood in your astrological sign, then you can use innovation to express yourself. Wood also symbolizes birth and early childhood.
Fire is one of the Feng Shui elements that is good, but can be bad if not used in moderation. With enough fire, you will display a sign of leadership, warmth and energy. Too much fire can be caustic and dangerous, showing arrogance and overbearance. Fire is usually the sign of the prepubescent stage of life, when a child is full of vivacity and boldness.
